Introduction
As an organisation involved in WASH, gender equality, education, agriculture, child advocacy and community outreach, livelihood through vocational skilling, development training and research, poverty eradication; it is imperative for Komuge Community Initiative (KCI) to create a robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategy to guide ensure focused outcome-based approaches as opposed to focusing on activities.
Previously KCI was implementing activities without an M&E strategy and ascertainment of results was difficult because the focus was on activities without a clear goal of what is expected in the long term for particular activities. Therefore it is envisaged that the development of a robust M&E strategy will enable KCI track outcomes and impact effectively and efficiently.
